875lb bull moose with a 52" spread taken by Tink and Eva Nelson.
Hunting moose is our passion! The Great North Woods of New Hampshire is home to many Trophy Class bull moose that will qualify for New Hampshire Antler and Skull Trophy Club Record Book! Our hunts begin in the pre-season, when we spend endless hours studying topographical maps and many more hours in the woods scouting. We keep our clients up to date throughout the summer which adds to the anticipation and excitement of this once in a lifetime hunt! We work hard for our clients from the day we are hired. We do not wait until September to begin our scouting!
Northern New Hampshire's topography can challenge the most experienced outdoorsman. The moose hunter needs to anticipate and be prepared for any type of inclimate weather. If you decided to book a hunt with Fair Chase Guide Service, you will hunt using various techniques which include calling, spot and stalk, and still hunting. Wearing the proper clothing and footwear will allow the hunter to be comfortable longer increasing their chances of taking that trophy that dreams are made of!
We guide Bow Hunters, Rifle Hunters, Black Powder Hunters and Handgun Hunters. Over the years, our clients have taken moose at distances as far as 250 yards and as close as 15 feet! Every attempt is made to position ourselves so the shot will be taken at less than 50 yards. However, sometimes we need to stretch the barrel in order to take the moose of a lifetime! Being safe, familiar and accurate with the firearm or bow you choose to hunt with is paramount!
